Week of November 6

Sunday Schedule:  Week 2, Day 4

Upcoming Events and Special Notes:
New SpellingCity lists will be posted on Thursday evenings for the upcoming week.  (New lists posted this morning for the Week of November 6!)  Although you do not have to study over the weekend, they will be posted if you like to start studying and get a head start on the week!

Thank you for checking in with your student by signing and returning Math Exit Tickets when they are assigned for homework!  When Exit Tickets are assigned for the evening, your student should bring it home, teach it to you (walk you through their thinking/strategies!), have you sign it, and turn it in the next day.  Note:  I will sign over top of your signature to acknowledge that your student completed the homework.  When you get Exit Tickets like this, they are yours to keep!

The photo order form deadline has been extended to Wednesday, November 9.  Please return order forms to the classroom or office.

Reminders:
Elements performance on Thursday, November 10!  Don't remember what your student is supposed to wear for the Grade 3-5 Fall Concert?  Check the previous post for information from Mrs. Elbin and Mr. Elbin regarding attire for the concert!

Scholastic Book Orders are due online Sunday, November 20!  Enjoy browsing!

Do you remember getting this email from our 4AN Room Parents?  One small reminder in case you missed it:  "In preparation for several upcoming activities this school year, we kindly request your monetary assistance to make these events a success.  That said, we are asking for each family to provide a one time donation of 5 OMR, which will go towards purchasing material resources such as crafts and supplies designed to enhance your child’s learning experience.  We are also requesting that these donations be placed in a secure envelope with your child’s name, and for it to be submitted to Mrs. Newman by Sunday October 23.  We thank you in advance for your generosity and contribution."   Deadline has been extended!  Please have your students turn these in to me sometime next week if possible.
